Andrew 'Andy' Gallagher is a character from the CW TV show Supernatural, created by Eric Kripke. He is portrayed by Gabriel Tigerman.
He's appeared in two episodes of Season 2:
- Simon Said (2x05)
- All Hell Breaks Loose part 1 (2x21)
I am not saying anything about Andy's appearance in All Hell Breaks Loose as I haven't seen the episode yet. I'm waiting for part 2 to come out, and then I'll watch the two episodes as one, that's why. Anyway, this is mostly spoiler free, at least regarding the season's finale.
We first meet Andy in Simon Said, where Sam is having visions of killings,
once again.
Andy is one of the psychic kids the Yellow Eyed Demon is after. When he was
six months old, his mother died in a nursery fire, just like Dean and Sam's
mother. But it was actually his adoptive mother, as Andy had been given away
by his biological mother just after he was born.
Andy's power is mind-control. He can make people what he wants them to do,
and can suggest feelings as well. Contrary to what Sam believed at the beginning
of Simon Said, Andy never used his powers to do bad things (if you don't count
taking the Impala from Dean XD).
Andy had a twin brother, Webber, who had been visited by the Demon and who
had decided to kill every single person standing between his brother and himself.
Andy ended up killing him when Webber tried to kill Andy's childhood love.
He's actually a sweet and clever guy, not always very honest, given his powers, but he's not evil. He's quite shy and sometimes clumsy, but he's also funny. He sees his powers as a gift, and not a curse, as opposed to Sam's point of view, and he's always used his powers for his own good, but without doing anything wrong.
